Just started taking lessons and I like it very much!
No, it's not cardio, but it's great for mind/body control.

my curiosity is killing me, and i don't have access to a cd rom right now, so here's my question:.
how many "hits" does "144000" get in the magazines over the past 5 years or so?.
my prediction is that mention of "the 144000" has been decreasing steadily over the past few years, as they move towards phasing out a literal interpretation of this scripture.. thanks,.
Thanks guys! [esp. SAYSWHO]
Interesting stats. . . .
where is it located?.
do they still use it as a farm?.
the farm is where they dug up the barrels of old ink, what are they building there?.
As far as I know, there is no longer any farming going on at the "farms"
i have a friend who is a sociologist.
this person does research on being gay and mormon, and will shortly come out with a book.
we had a lengthy discussion about cults (in general, and jws in particular), and basically the sociologist believes that all religions are cults.
Your sociolgist friend is correct - from his perspective: yes, basically all religions are cults. You can get into how a consensus view is formed, yada yada yada, and the cult goes mainstream. . . .
Hassan's perspective on cults is different, and in my humble estimation, more precise. He is coming, not from a sociological angle, but a psychological one.
The psychological perspective takes into account the effects of the group on the individual, in this case, thought reform methods used by high-control groups, as opposed to sociologists, who basically say Well isn't this weird and interesting, hmmmmm to each his own, we're not to judge . .. and leave it at that.
the podcasts (radio shows) are getting better and better.
here are the links for those interested.... (all available on i-tunes).
the atheist experience:.
My personal favorite is "Reasonable Doubts." Very sharp.
what major wtbts change(s) do you predict for 2014 to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of the wtbts's 1914 prediction?.
after posting to what's in it for them?
(gb), i started to think what major change(s) could the wtbts make to thin the flock and cleanse the congregations of social jws who do not donate or go to meetings.. my premise is that the wtbts is a business, a dangerous cult, and that its printing operations are losing money.
SOP - I think you've got a point there. .. . . that turkey is mighty tasty!
.
really is a good listen, some members here called in, a big "hello" to you guys xxx.

as a baby boomer making the best of every day, i have a casual list of things i want to do before i, well .
we all know about the promises made, and, gee whiz, i want to be a good and faithful boy.
but i'm beginning to wonder if i should buy a few more baskets to put my eggs in.
I think a "bucket list" shows not a lack of faith, but an ambitious desire to do the best with what you've got!
one thing is absolutely certain, bible chronology reinforced with fulfilled bible prophecy shows that six thousand years of mans existence will soon be up, yes, within this generation!
(matt.
24:34) this is, therefore, no time to be indifferent and complacent.
I think it's obvious who was "toying with the words of Jesus"
